LA 4-Week Course | Intermediate Draping
Now that you have created your basic patterns for a bodice, skirt & dress in the Mood U 6-Week Beginner Draping Course’ you are ready to learn how to add style lines and create a variety of garment styles. Working with the techniques learned in the beginner course, students will explore new techniques to add to their repertoire of draping skills!
In this Mood U 6-Week Intermediate Draping Course you will expand upon the fundamental rules of draping on the dress form learning to drape different garments styles. Students will be guided in transferring their draped muslin onto pattern paper and fine tuning their pattern shapes. At the completion of the 6-week course, students will have finished both muslin drape work and paper patterns. We will guide you in achieving a perfect fit and finish with all your patterns to use as a basis for future projects and Mood U workshops.

Working with the techniques learned in the beginner course, students will explore new techniques to add to their repertoire of draping skills!
If you already have some basic knowledge of draping from being self taught or learning elsewhere this Draping Basics Part 2 course is also perfect for you!!

In this Mood U 4-Week Draping Basics Part 2 course you will expand upon the fundamental rules of draping on the dress form learning to drape different garments styles. - 4 weeks of hands-on professional draping instruction taught by a Mood U Lead Instructor
- 1 dress form assigned to each student every class for 4 weeks
