NY 6-Week Course | Advanced Draping
Whether you have attended beginner or intermediate draping classes at Mood U, or If you have previous draping experience from elsewhere, then this is a great course for you to expand upon your draping skills!
In this Mood U 6-Week course students will work with their instructor, fashion designer Benjamin Mach, on a custom project of their own choosing. After consultation with your instructor and assessment of your project proposal you will expand upon your skills in the art of draping on the dress form mastered thus far.
Students will be guided in realizing their dream garment within the 6-week timeframe of the course. Draping muslin and transferring their final drape onto pattern paper. By the completion of the 6-week course, students will aim to have finished both muslin drape work and paper patterns.
